I had a pleasant stay at Tsentralnaya. the hotel is in a fantastic location, right in the city centre. It's close to the mall, Opera house, and the Black Sea, which made it convenient for exploring the area. the room I stayed in had a balcony, which was a nice bonus. the staff at the hotel were very helpful and made my stay comfortable. Despite being an old, Soviet-style hotel, it had a charming atmosphere and good value for the money. The breakfasts were also satisfactory. Cons: N/A.

Its proximity to down town nothing more.
The hotel staff do not speak English at all; no telephone in rooms. Only the bed room has a/c the rest of the room is hot. The lobby has no a/C. Not really comfortable for westerners, I did take a room there because the weekend I visited Odessa, there was a festival, and most hotels were sold out.

Great central location, just a short walk from the main attractions and restaurants. the room was spacious and comfortable, providing a relaxing space after a day of exploring. the breakfast had a decent selection of food, including a variety of cereals, meats, and cheeses.
The hotel had a strong musty smell throughout the building, which was quite unpleasant. the lack of air conditioning in the room made it difficult to sleep, especially during the summer.

Old Soviet-style hotel. No remodeling evident in 40 years, but the TV was newer and wiorked, and there was air conditioning and a fridge. The hotel was clean, comfortable and spacious (we had a 2-br suite). Can't beat it for location and price.
No English TV channels, as this isn't Western standard, I suspect most tourists would choose something pricier. Very basic "Russian breakfast" included in the price. Better to walk to the buffet restaurant on the corner for food.

Very helpful and respectful staff. Excellent location near downtown. Quick and professional check-in and check-out. Spacious and clean rooms with subtle signs of wear. White bedsheets and blankets. Established soap and shampoo.

I chose this hotel for attending a conference because it provides the heart of the cultural, historical, and business center with most places of interest. The location was perfect and convenient. The facilities were adequate and comfortable.
The one service that I missed for my work was a reliable and fast internet connection.

The hotel is quite old, you can still fill the soviet era, rooms and shared bathroom was clean, the furniture is old. Staff was very friendly. This hotel is ideal if you are on the low budget. Located right in the city centre, 100m from Deribasovskaya Street and 30 min walk from the beach. Breakfast was good. If you are fussy person, I suggest to choose something different.
Furniture could be better.

Old soviet style hotel with a pretty good location. If you stay in Odessa 2 or 3 nights, it´s OK, but no more nights. Helpful staff, but breakfast is a little bit poorer.

I had a truly convenient and enjoyable stay at a centrally located hotel in Odessa. The hotel had a charming, old-fashioned style and my spacious double room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast offered a decent variety and the option to order freshly made dishes. The fact that the reception staff spoke English was a great help. Although the lack of air conditioning in the room made sleeping a bit challenging, considering the price, location, and level of cleanliness, I would still highly recommend this hotel. I had a positive experience and would definitely stay here again.
